Our Adoption Story
When we got married, being in a same sex relationship we didn't think having a family was going to be an option. Our closest friends kept telling us what great parents we would be, and with one of them being adopted herself, the lightbulb went off. "Why not adopt?" we thought to ourselves, and the more we thought about it, the more excited we became! We were blessed 4 years ago when we adopted our first child, and it was the best thing to ever happen us.
Our Promise to You
We very much want to continue expanding our family and that dream can happen with you! We promise to make your child the center of our world.
We are financially stable and with that we love to travel the world and want to share that experience with our children. In recent years we have been to Washington D.C. Bermuda, Italy, and Greece just to name a few. We cannot wait to show your child the world, expanding their horizons and enriching their lives.
Being financially stable also allows us to plan for their future, having a college fund set up and sending them to the best schools.
We also promise that your child’s day will be full with frequent trips to the library, as they have a lot of great classes that spark creativity and grow a passion for reading. When not at the library we will be off to the many parks we have in our area or even a day trip to the museum or zoo. We are always looking for fun things to do as a family and very much look forward to doing that with your child.
About Us
We are a loving couple together for 13 years and happily married for nearly 8 years. We live on a cul-de-sac surrounded by children in the suburbs of New York.
We both have stable jobs with great benefits. Chris recently retired after working 20 years with the Fire Department. He has a pension and benefits. John is a bank teller with 12 years of management experience working for a Fortune 500 company. Together, we love to travel, spend time in the great outdoors and have frequent get-togethers with our family.
Meet Chris
I am the eldest of 3 children with a younger brother and sister. My brother and sister each have 4 children. I grew up in a traditional household with family dinner at 6pm and going to church on Sundays. My grandmother made gravy (sauce) and the extended family, including cousins, aunts and uncles, all got together at Nan's. My family is very supportive of our decision to adopt and will help us in any way possible.
Meet John
I am the middle child of 3 children with an older brother and younger sister. My brother has 2 children and my sister has 3 children. I have had a close relationship with my parents and had dinner as a family every night. We talked about our day, politics and current events. We went to church every Sunday and spent the holidays together as a family. Religion, history, travel, arts and culture are very important to me. My family is also very supportive of our decision and will also help us any way they can!
Our Home
We live in a colonial home built in 2014 near the end of a cul-de-sac. We bought our home in January 2015 and partly because it was brand new, it really is our dream home. We take great pride in the way the home looks. It is designed with modern, elegant furniture and paintings but still inviting and cozy. We just finished adding a couple of finished rooms in the basement including a large area for kids to play! Our neighborhood is on the older side and quite diverse with many parks nearby plus a fantastic library, which we frequent!
About Noah
Our son is a healthy, happy 4-year-old little guy. He keeps us active, whether it's a trip to the park or story time at the library. He is thriving and getting smarter each day. Some of the things he says are truly surprising! Noah and our pup are quickly becoming best buds, as our goldendoodle is a great family pet. Chris is now retired and is a stay-at-home dad. Our days will continue to be full with visits with family, trips to the zoo or museum or even staying at home to be outside for bike rides or building a snowman. Education started with Noah already at age 3. He can now spell his name, copy us saying the alphabet and talk in full sentences. We will continue to take our children to the library, as we believe reading books is an important part of the nighttime routine. We hope our children excel in school and attend college, and we will do what we can to help achieve that goal.

Hobbies and Interests
Growing up, we were both into Boy Scouts where we learned things like skiing, canoeing, camping and so much more. We hope to get our children into scouts one day - maybe one day, they will become an Eagle Scout like Chris! As we got older, we both very much enjoy reading and traveling as much as possible. We hope to travel as a family once the pandemic comes to an end.
Meet the Family
Our son has many children to play with, as we have a large extended family that includes 13 nieces & nephews from 9 months to 25 years old! Whether it's a monster truck race, trips to the water park or a day at the aquarium, we truly love being around children. We always get together for the holidays with everyone invited. At least once a year, we travel with some of our closest relatives. We have been to places like Greece & Italy as well as many trips right here in the US like the Grand Canyon & Hoover Dam, or down to the Caribbean to relax. We are planning a trip to some National Parks this year. We have a close circle of friends that have many children as well. We host and are invited to birthdays, bbq's and other family events. We try to get together whenever possible, catch up and let the kids run around and play in the back yard.
