STEP 2
MEET WITH OUR COUNSELORS TO EXPLORE YOUR OPTIONS
We can meet with you at a location where you are comfortable. We can explain the adoption process and help you decide what you think would be best for you and your baby. We can also help you complete your confidential paperwork.
STEP 3
CREATE AN ADOPTION PLAN
We will discuss your needs and wishes. We will help you select a family for your baby, decide what contact you would like with the family, create a budget to cover your expenses, make a hospital plan and build a future plan for you.
STEP 4
DELIVERY
When you go into labor and your baby is born, we will meet you at the hospital to make sure that you are being taken care of. You will spend as much time with your baby as you would like. It is normal to experience strong emotions after delivery and we will be there to support you.
STEP 5
PLACEMENT
We will make sure that you completely understand the legal part of moving forward with your adoption plan and guide you through the adoption consent forms. After you sign your documents, your baby will go home from the hospital with the adoptive family.
STEP 6
POST-ADOPTION SERVICES
After you go home from the hospital, you will receive any financial assistance as agreed. You will also have contact with the adopting family as agreed. We will continue to offer you emotional support services for as long as you need.
